Objective in making the recordings

Introduction to the plan to record members discussing the way social and domestic matters have changed in their lifetime. The object of these sessions has been to use the memories of members - most of whom are over 60 years old - to make a record for future generations to find out how much of our way of life has changed. The members remember back 50 or so years which will give a bridge for future generations to find out the detail of normal life some 60 or more years ago.


Discussion Series:-

1. Discussion on Smoking and related matters. There were about 15 members of the society at this discussion. One was below 50 years of age. All the others were from their late 50's up to 80. Recorded 23rd September 2015
