| The view is taken from the bridge looking down north onto the station. One member of staff and two small girls, obviously not about to travel, stand on an inactive station. The lines stretch off towards Thorner across a landscape devoid of large trees. | The view taken 100 years or so later from the same location. The station is now a pub with an Italian restaurant attached. The line was closed 40 years earlier, the rails removed and houses built along the track at this point. The old line is crossed by many fences. | |
