Chapel Lane, Barwick-in-Elmet date not known (1930-1959?)

Chapel Lane, Barwick-in-Elmet in the April 2003

Not much has changed in the 50 or so years. The large stone house on the left has been demolished. The date of the picture is uncertain. The biggest changes which can be seen are the street furniture, the television aerials and the "wheelie bin" an introduction dating from 2002. The first wall on the right is the same wall as the one in the first picture. At least there are fewer telephone wires visible in the later photograph.
